thankful

This is what I'm most thankful for. My family is fun and crazy and wonderful! And I love them very very much.

And this year I am also very thankful to live in downtown Monroe! Sharing a car with James would be a lot worse if lived further from civilization!

Isn't downtown cute? Most people just drive highway 2 and miss all the good stuff in favor of KFC and Ben Franklin (don't get me wrong, they're great, but lack character).

Does anybody else have a giant picture of the actual students in karate class on the outside of their studio?

Here is our very favorite bookstore!

It's for sale! I wish I could buy it, sans the weird ugly table recently added to the entry, and keep it exactly the same. There are kids toys all over, and great prices galore. James says being a bookshop owner is too expensive of a hobby...

The girls travel in style, while I get plenty of exercize pulling them around and where's John? Oh, yeah... He's in the baby carrier on my belly. I should be in better shape, if I weren't so thankful for high caloric foods!

We even have some achingly adorable home decor shops, filled with really really sweet owners. (Who even donated for Becky's fundraiser.)

And check out the cute houses we get to walk past!
Not to mention that we live about a mile from parks and the library.
Our house is a piece of work, but I sure am glad we live here!

oooh. That sort of made me homesick. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with deliciously high caloric food and lots of fun and family.

What a darling post. I'm Linda's friend, Candy. You might not remember me. But I just loved the downtown Monroe pictures. It reminded me of Old Towne Spring back in Texas. Your kids are just darling. Love, Aunt Candy

I remember you! Do you still live in Blue Spruce? Thanks for visiting my blog; I hope you come again.

Hey Nicole. I ate lots of high caloric foods. And had a great time playing with the fam. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, too.
