rearranging the furniture

Do Any of your kids do this to your living room while you are out?

While I put away their laundry, the girls rearranged the entire living and dining room. And then they laid booby traps. Do you like the staked rope across the doorway? That's how we show love in the Tunnell household.

But they did inspire a little different sort of rearrangement of our living room. Forget the bare walls and need to touch up our green paint. Do you think this is an akward arrangement?

This is how it looks from the front entry.

I can't decide if it's akward or cozier.

This is totally just off the wall... how would the couch look in front of your wall of shelves. Or you could also have your couch parallel with the wall of shelves pretty much where you have it now. It is always fun moving furniture around. Michael actually really likes to rearrange furniture.

I was thinking the same thing about having the couch parallel where it is now with the shelves. The picture from the entry way looks cozy but the bigger picture of the room makes it look awkward. I'm all about angles with furniture. Something in the room has to be angled. It drives Jacob nuts but I think it looks more cozy. I do the same thing when I hang pictures on the wall. I hate taking the time to make sure they are all level with each other so I offset them. I love it! (Sorry for the LONG tangent)

I think I'd like it if you hung something on that wall..the newly empty one.

Anthony used to set traps for me. Literally. He was always very disappointed when I didn't slip on the skateboard and fall into the trap. I think he was four or five at the time.

I HATE it when the kids move my furniture!
