fun with Kangs

This weekend we went for a super mini-vacay to visit the Kangs. Their two youngest are just about the same ages as our little girls. And they get along great!

Elise and Britton were bestest friends, until Britton waking up at 5:30 caught up with her, and she didn't get along with anyone.

And as Lucy helped me pick out pictures she kept exclaiming, "My Liwy! My Liwy!" We couldn't persuade Lucy and Lilly to get off the trampoline. They would have jumped all day if they could have. Sarah says that it was Lilly's dream come true, because she's always trying to get someone to jump with her for hours, but no one ever has the patience.

These are pictures of Lilly at her and Elise's Birthday carnival. It was the funnest party ever! James manned the real (gigantic) cotton candy machine. Never have I had a sweeter husband. And there was a real (gigantic) cute popcorn machine, tons of carnival games, a balloon artist, and a photo booth stocked with clown noses and fake mustaches.
