We postponed the big meal until Sunday, so as not to mess up our toy playing time. Julia transformed our ham and potato meal into a dinner fit for a king. We had brussels sprouts again... And garlic mashed potatoes. With two heads of garlic. Yes, you read that right. Julia assured us that any less would be dissapointing. They were simmered in butter for twenty minutes before being made into a beautiful cream sauce and then added to the potatoes.
We didn't get pictures of some of the sweetest moments from our holiday. Reenacting the Nativity story. Lucy's naked scooter ride. Britton offering to share her presents with Lucy. John rapt reaction to the wrapping. Daddy playing Christmas songs on the piano, while we sang. The girls finding out Santa forgot to take their cards with him. Oops.

OH MY GOSH! BETH, YOUR HAIR!!! I can't get over how different you look! Holy Moly!
It sounds like you guys had a good Christmas :). Family times make the holiday. I'm glad you're putting the piano to good use, it gives me warm fuzzies :)
