the nerdy feeling has been hanging around lately

Maybe it's because...

I laugh out loud while reading Shakespeare's plays. That man was powerful funny, and a genius. And if James is around, I give him full descriptions of my favorite parts, and he pretends to be interested. He's so good to me.

I think making bread is good for the soul. But you miss all the good for the soul stuff if you use a mixer or bread machine. Working the dough with your hands not only gets that vital wheat gluten working, but unlocks those small windows that let in the sunshine of the small and simple pleasures of life.

And today we discovered 104.5 FM. Seattle now has an oldies station! And it made me so happy that I did all the dishes all at once just to have an excuse to listen to the radio. And I danced. Hope nobody was looking in my window.

And the funniest part: Britton did not like the song "Big Girls don't Cry". She looked at me very seriously as I was trying to teach her the mashed potato, and informed me that everyone cries.

I'm so happy that to have an oldies station again! Too bad we don't have a working radio in the Falcon.

I miss riding in the back of the Jones' huge van listening to oldies and dancing. Love oldies, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM! Wish there was a station here.
