have you seen me?



Our yard has all sorts of mysterious plants cropping up all over the place. Beautiful trees flowering out of what seemed like dead twigs all winter. Adorable little mini irises that came up just after our tulips, but this one is the most mystifying:
I don't think this picture does justice to the ugliness of the foliage. I've been keeping it around just to see what happens with it. And I also saw a very similar plant at the Seattle Temple. And the grounds are fabulous there! So there should be some redeeming qualities to this large leafed plant, right?
Well, it has spouted some of these unusual flowers.
Anybody have a guess at what they are?

I asked my mother in law if she thought they were hostas, and she told me they were too ugly! ha ha. They could be...

Beth - I am going to go with some type of Lily. The petal looks similar to that of a Calla Lily but the leaves are different... not sure on this one.

They look like peace lilies. Not sure though.
