My sweet sister in law Annalia is on the family Hawaiian vacation she never imagined right now. At least, I don't think she envisioned the vomiting, bugs, and storms they have encountered. But I think they've had some sun, too. So maybe she isn't wishing she had just went with her husband, like he imagined.
Anyway, she was on my mind as I was getting irritated with my belly when I actually wanted to clean my house. Figures. I think I need to get me one of those extendable grabby arms.
So, as I was cursing my giant belly and monstrous weight gain, I was thinking of happier times and Lia's adorable Christmas present that our whole family adores. Well, maybe not James. But sometimes he claims he wants to grow old to become a heckler. I still have hope, we met a sweet old retired professor on Saturday. He played his own little one man band. And James was smitten with the idea of retiring and bringing a bit of whimsical music to the world. Ah. I love him.
But this is a post for Lia. Her and her ingenious librarian kit. Apparently, Lucy may want to take on my dream as well. And Britton will be our loyal patron.
I hope you enjoy the pictures, Lia.

oh too darling! I have the cutest grandkids in the world!
It's been a great FAMILY vacation...which one cannot expect to be especially carefree. Still, it's relaxing to dodge some of your usual obligations. ...and I LOVE Hawaii!
Librarian dress-up is far superior to princess dress-up. I wonder if we could teach the kids the dewy decimal system? I'm also a big proponent of pioneer dress-up. And your stake activity made me want to sew cute bonnets!
