sara, my darling

I don't have many faithful followers of this blog, but my dear friend Sara is one of those special people. I love her blog, too.  And sometimes we give each other a hard time about our lack of sharing our family secrets over the internet.  So, after she had reminded me to update, and then I did update, but dedicated an update to someone other than her... I was in a little bit of trouble.  And I love Sara, so I don't want to be in trouble any longer.

Here is some goody goodness from the past that I haven't gotten around to, but have wanted to share with the world (and my 3 followers ;)

I'm pregnant!  And as of today I am pretty sure we are having a baby girl and we have approximately 8 weeks to meet her, and I'm leaning toward the name Willa, but James hasn't approved or vetoed yet.

A month or two ago, when I was a little less large with child, a very good friend (very very good!) did my makeup and helped come up with a super adorable maternity shoot.  Here is what happened when our great minds, and her wonderful skills, came together:

And a little secret:  I didn't make that pie. It's Grandpa Jim's Heavenly Hazelnut pie.  Soo delicious.  

But I am currently barefoot in the kitchen making blueberry pie bars.  Also delicious.
