a time to dance and sing

Miss Britton was extra involved in fun activities this spring. 

She had a lively time ballet and Irish dancing and singing her heart out at her choir concert. 

Grandma Cozy says that Britton was the most fun to watch sing because she likes to sing with so much expression. And she certainly does know how to express herself when she sings. She sang in an ensemble this semester during the song Blackbird by the Beatles. It probably could have been her solo, though, because she certainly sang the most confidently.

Britton loved getting ready for the ballet recital because a full face of makeup was required. Which meant she finally got to try it all out and go out in public. And red lipstick was perfectly acceptable. Can you tell she was happy about it?
