a visit from nana

Nana came over the other day. It was the second time in a week the girls had a great grandmother visit. We learn such great things from them. Grandma Cozy taught us "trot trot the horsy" and she scanned a whole bunch of pictures for Nana. And then Nana came over and told us stories about some of them. This is Nana with the girls. They had just picked off all of the little red tulips. They only pick the very tops of flowers. That way they are easier to put in hair. Here are some of my favorite pictures:

Don't you think people should still dress up like this for Sadie Hopkin's Day?

This is Nana and Papa. Didn't she look like a princess in her $15 dress? My uncle Harold still does his hair just like this. I love it!

How do you like my dad's style as a senior? My mom says he used to have a big cross necklace that he would wear, too. I guess he didn't feel like wearing it to his Senior Breakfast. I'll have to keep looking through Nana's pictures to see it.

I love looking at old family photos and hearing the stories that go with them.
