my sweet husband

James is

1. The best cuddler ever! He will cuddle with me for as long as I want, and he just knows the best most comfortable ways to snuggle, even maybe if the position puts his arm to sleep.

2. Frugal. We just finished our budget (budgets are a lot more exciting now that we are done with college) today and when we finished he said, "Now think of how much more we could save if we just..." He's really helped me take a look at what happens with all that impulse buying. But still agrees that we should have a little fun once in a while. Gosh! I am so glad he has taught me to budget!

3. so punny. He can't resist a good pun. And I love to see him be a little goofy sometimes.

4. a great provider! He's getting up at 5 tomorrow to be to work at a job that he is not especially in love with, but it pays the bills, and in these economic times we are very grateful.

5. dedicated to learning. James has hobbies. But they aren't playing video games or golf (although he doesn't pass up an opportunity if someone suggests playing a game or two). He is always learning new ways to create, looking into new technologies, and generally making me feel lazy.

6. He inspires me. You know, like being less lazy, budgeting, being a good mom, and person in general.

7. We have compatible taste buds. I'd like to call our style of eating limited adventurous. I love that he will try anything I cook, but doesn't ask for anything that I really don't like, because he doesn't either.

8. He plays with the girls as soon as he gets home from work, and smuggles in a kiss for me somewhere between Lucy and Britton.

9. And he's a good kisser.

10. He never complains when the house is still not clean.

I love this post. It is really nice sometimes to remember all the things we love about our stripling warriors---(not stripping JOE!)
Your husband makes me feel lazy too---most of the time if I have a free moment, I spend it napping or reading a good book ;)
It was great chatting with you today--how was your corned beef and cabbage?

That's awesome. I'm impressed that you still like to snuggle after having 2 kids. Before Emma I wanted to be snuggled all the time and now not so much!
