1. They are really fun to sprinkle decoratively all over the floor.
2. When left with just a little bit of milk they create a gluey sort of substance.
3. When left for a couple hours the gluey substance has now become adhered permanently to the bowl (or seems like it when trying to wash...)
4. Leaves a yucky waxy feeling in your mouth.
5. Has almost no nutritional value.
6. In fact, there isn't even a lot of sugar in it because a bulking agent called polydextrose is used to cut down on sugar and calories and add fiber (your body can only metabolize 33% of polydextrose, it has no flavor and has no nutrients to add to the cereal) and therefore won't even give your kid very much energy to start the day.
7. Should be used for glue.
Disclaimer: I'm just a little mad because Britton has gotten very good at reason number one. And I am therefore removing said cereal from her diet.

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who has a two year old that likes to sprinkle food on the carpet. Misery loves company.
Count your blessings. Yesterday James sprinkled a very nutritious blueberry/raspberry shake on my carpet. I think I'd rather clean up cocoa pebbles.
Hmmm....odds are that fruity pebbles have all the same redeeming qualities huh? Darn.
