Yesterday we took Britton to the doctor because of a persistent cough. He said that it was viral and we just need to wait it out. I guess three weeks wasn't a long enough wait. But we did get to find out how much she weighed and how tall she was and have a nice little family home evening about the importance of keeping our bodies healthy. The really interesting little tidbit is that she has gained ten pounds in the last year! Woo Hoo! Go Britton. She weighed only 18 pounds at her 18 month visit, which was a little bit concerning because she was kind of a pudgy baby. Now Lucy on the other hand is a different story. She is nearly the same size as Britton was at a year old! and she's gained nearly ten pounds in four months! I was noticing that my arms have slimmed down a bit since having Lucy. I think these growing girls may have something to do with it!

What beautiful little ladies...they must have one hot mama! I love the color of Lucy's hair...of course, I am partial to that shade....

I can completely relate. My girls have always been on the small side. Jaclyn, who by the way, USED to be a chunky infant, now weighs a meager 21 pounds. She's nearly 2!!! Good golly girl, go gain some weight.
I think I'm gonna start giving her those ensure weight gainer shakes again.
Britten and Lucy are certifiably, absolutely adorable, by the way!! Britten is growing up to be a cute little lady!
