nap time
Oh my gosh! Britton won't take a nap! This video was taken two days ago, but she is doing the same thing today. She hasn't taken a nap all week. And although she has been pretty sweet lately, She still needs some sleep. But she is holding out really well. She makes up songs, I didn't post the video of her singing her Hannah Montana song. I really don't know how she found out about Hannah Montana, but she seems to be up to date on all the kid trends. What can you do with a two year old who won't sleep? Her naptime routine even puts Lucy to sleep! (just for the record, she's good at not sleeping, too. The only infant I know who screams the entire time we are in the car.)

you poor thing. No more naptime. That means no more of "your time". But at lest she is not grumpy all day. Thats a good thing.
That is the cutest thing! :) Hudson misses his nap for preschool, the other day when we were walking home he kept letting go of my hand and laying down in the grass on people's lawns. :)

Amie hasn't been taking naps either. Yesterday I found she had gotten into some paint that Ethan left in his desk. she decided to paint all over the bed sheets. Fun times huh?
It's so funny how she knew exactly what she should be doing, then told you she was playing instead. Kids do such silly things sometimes. That's what adds so much spice to life..a little too much sometimes :)
When our kids gave up naps, we instigated quiet time. As long as they stayed in their room and were "quiet" then they were fine and I got some me time:) Molly hated riding in the car too. She would scream and scream. When we finally switched her around to front facing she loved it. I don't know if you have any toys for her to look at while in the car. That sometimes helps. Good luck.
ME TOO!!! We are severely protesting nap time here and it's driving me crazy. If you come up with a good idea, pass it on!
