from the makers of the hug jug

Hugging is healthy. It helps the body's immune system, keeps you healthier;
cures depression, reduces stress, induces sleep. It's invigorating and rejuvenating,
has no unpleasant side effects, and hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug.

Hugging significantly increases your body's production of endorphins.
Hugging is all natural. It's organic, naturally sweet, no pesticides, no preservatives,
no artificial ingredients, and 100% wholesome. Hugging is practically perfect: no moving parts, no batteries to wear out, no periodic checkups, low energy consumption, high-energy yield, inflation-proof, non-fattening, no monthly payments, no insurance requirements, theft-proof, nontaxable, nonpolluting, and, of course, Every hug is fully returnable.

I Love hugs! Especially with my kids. It seems like hugs are the perfect answer when I'm about to lose it. So Britton and I have a new favorite book called Hugville
by Court Crandall. I recommend it to anyone that loves hugs.

Britton and I made a hug jug after reading it and made little sticks labeled with different kinds of hugs. Her favorite is the tornado hug. It is really the activity that keeps on giving. And another word about the importance of hugs... While researching about hugs a team from the University of North Carolina said women recorded greater reductions in blood pressure than men after hugging. So get on it ladies!

I loved this post! I wanna go get that book for the girls and get our hugging groove on!! what fun.
I agree with the message too; hugs are healthy for the soul, especially those given by little children with sticky pb&j hands and faces. ;-)

This is a great post! I love the hug jug thing and think that is so cute...makes me want to have a baby just to make a hug jug! I will have to remember when I move into the family and children era of life. In the meantime, I am going to pass along your thoughts and book recommendation to all my girlfriends with kidlets. There is nothing like unsolicited helpful parenting advice from a childless friend! Thanks for sharing!

Haha! How funny, I love it! Hey, dude... I totally called you back the other night- you dropped the ball! Call me when you wanna hang out and stuff since I don't really know how to reach you once you've moved into your new apt... which I think you already have.
Love Nichole
