halloween

Do you ever keep your expectations low on purpose so that you can enjoy something more than you had planned?

Well, I had low expectations on accident and then Halloween was awesome this year.

The kids each loved their costumes, and looked adorable.

Although, Nora is getting way too old.  I keep telling her to revert, and then she just runs down the hall and ignores me.

This is what they got after the first run downtown.  After that they hit up the trunk or treat and then our neighborhood.  It was excessive, but they are mostly done with it now.  Which is good, because I'm tired of picking up suckers stuck to everything.

I might have to dress up Nora again, though.  We've been having fun with face painting, too. I can make a pretty good pirate, football helmet, fairy flowers. And Lucy turned me into a clown cat.  I think I lost the pictures...
