Little Miss Nora is the most adventurous, clingy baby we have ever had and she is nine months old today.
She is amazing and fantastic and bear crawls everywhere and stands next to furniture in her spare time when she isn't being held. She can crawl in and out of the house. Mostly because she likes to eat rocks. They are more delicious than blueberries to her. In fact she will not let a blueberry pass her lips, but if it's garbage or a rock, then it had better be prepared for slobber and cute little teeth. She has seven. I always thought teeth come in twos, but she has had seven for a couple months now.
She still has fantastic rolls, softest and squishiest and so nice to nuzzle. And many people like to comment about all that squishy, but when we are out and about most frequently people love her stick-straight, stand up, red hair. It is adorable (although perhaps turning into a mullet).
And then after that they notice her birthmark. Now her birthmark didn't actually show for her first six or seven months because it was lost in all of those luscious rolls on her neck. But now it is aired out quite frequently and many people think she is hurt. It looks a little bit like a bruise. But if you look closely, there is a tiny, bright pink heart on it. I think it's because we all love her so much. Every morning her siblings want to see her before anything else happens.
