construction paper calamity

My mom dropped off a ton (perhaps literally) of school supplies and curriculum a couple weeks ago. This is just the rainbow of construction paper. 

I thought it would be fun to make construction paper dresses. I've seen some really fantastic dresses that mothers and daughters have made. 

The girls loved the idea. Can you guess who Lucy picked as her inspiration?

The project turned stressful. Can you tell by Lucy's expression? Being attentive to four kids and making sure a wiggly five year old stays still so the tape keeps the paper together turned me into a bit of a momster. 

Not to mention the mess:

By the time I was done with Lucy, Britton was ready to make her dress unassisted. 

It was a little tough to keep up. 

And to conclude: only moms with one daughter should do this. It would be fun and less messy.
