8. You have little piles of things laying around the house
7. You leave some of the piles, because they look kind of neat (aka you have no idea where to put them)
6. You plan an entire week to clean your house for an event.
5. Then you realize a week won't be long enough.
4. Because once you clean the things that were on your list, you find out that was just the first layer.
3. You decide not to clean the next layer, because there are better things to do.
2. You usually forget about messes the kids make.
1. Your house is generally always messy.
Well, that about sums up my housekeeping... But I have years and years to improve, right?

I think it's mostly boring people who have clean houses, so congratulations.
...that said, I am sort of trying to clean mine...sort of...
