Because we are such an awesome family, we built robots last week and had a mystery science theater for family movie night.

James picked up a couple sets of K'nex kids, and the girls went to town. But robots can't just be robots around here. They made them clothes.

And tucked them in.
And on another topic. Have you ever tried washing your hair with baking soda and water? I stumbled upon this article from Simple Mom a couple of weeks ago and have been using the tablespoon of Baking Soda to 1 cup water for washing and tablespoon apple cider vinegar to 1 cup water for conditioner ever since.
These pictures were from days 6 and 7. My hair looks basically the same now at that it has been more than two weeks. And I don't think my hair looks any worse than usual, what do you think? (ps, at least I have hair again!)
Plus, I tried the vinegar solution on the girl's hair today to see if it would be a good detangler (being very careful, because vinegar does not feel good in your eyes! But apparently is a very good skin toner) and it was remarkable! Their hair detangled like magic. We are always looking for ways to reduce the chemicals in our house, and vinegar has about a thousand useful purposes. I better learn how to make it now.
