Have I ever mentioned "whatcuz"?
It should be added to the Oxford English Dictionary under the entry 'why'. Because the two words seem to be synonyms, and Britton has introduced the family to all the possibilities of her new word.
"No, we can't go up stairs right now."
"Whatcuz?"
"Grandma isn't home."
"Whatcuz?"
"Because she's at work."
"Whatcuz?"
Slightly less annoying than why, but how can I explain to her that the world will probably not sway in her direction to use "whatcuz" instead of the tried and true 'why'?

So funny. My baby sister used to say: "Whobody did this?" Made sense really, we have somebody, nobody, anybody why not a whobody...oh, excuse me...I mean whatcuz a whobody.
Cute. It is so funny how little kids make up new words.
