We took the plunge! We coughed up the money, left the house, trusted our children's lives in a fourteen-year-old's hands.
And she took great care of our little rugrats!
She may have gotten a little bit of an overload with Britton's constant jabbering, but Lucy gives great respite from the constant wall of chatter by creating scary diversions.
And the poor girl made it through. We should probably pay her more next time. What is the going rate for babysitters?

I probably overpay, but I have a lot of kids and always ask people to babysit on very short notice...
now. Anyhow, I figure being generous makes them more likely to say yes. $10/hr ($2/hr. per kid)
Of course, that's probably only good $ in LDS (cheap) communities.

I pay about $7 an hour for my own rugrats.
We pay $5/hour. That was when we only had Emma though. I'm thinking that's still a good rate though until our little Linnea becomes more high maintenance.
