James has a dream of some day creating the world's coolest guitar pedals. I'm his business partner. He's really useful for designing, building, and really doing everything. I help come up with amazing names for the different types of effects pedals. Like the super-wah. It makes a "wah wah" effect. Yeah. That was all me.
I love that our lives are so dedicated to the girls when they are awake, and then as soon as those little eyes are closed, we use their stuff for our own purposes. Did you notice James's seat?
Oh. And on a side note, my favorite course while working on my English degree was grammar. The college I attended only offered one undergraduate grammar course. It was a small program. Anyway. I loved the grammar. Couldn't get enough of it. And you know what? I don't really care about it in actually usage. Except, I really liked my teacher, who was about 75 and much shorter and slighter than me. He could make most kids quake behind their tables. And he stuck to the old school version of possessive nouns. And I kind of like it. So, if it makes you cringe that I add an apostrophe 's' to the end of words that end with 's', I am extremely sorry. It is my one hold out for Dr. Stacey.
Okay. So, back to after the kids go to bed. We do have romantic conversations. James is usually soldering or designing circuits on his laptop, while I am on the computer, or reading, or battling the evil foe. And we show each other we love each other by interrupting and mentioning things like "So, I was reading the constitution, and did you know..." or "I've just found a gem. Listen to this..." or some scientifical discussion about a certain way to route circuits. But that usually goes over my head because I just don't have the basic knowledge necessary to follow what he's talking about. But he tells me anyway because he loves me, and I try to listen, because I love him. And then we go to sleep with a sweet little baby right between us. Exhausted.

What a sweet post. I love the everyday-ness of our lives.
You guys are so cute. I think that the best part of marriage is when the honeymoon is over and you just get to enjoy life together.
