We have chicks! Nine of them, for now, but 6 are going to Jim when they are ready to be out on their own. The girls have named all of them despite that. Lucy is trying to pet her yellow chick, Daisy. The other two are probably just Bush and Tree. The girls aren't as fond of the Amauracunas for some reason. The other chicks have pretty botanical names like Rose, Petunia, and Flower.
But what John calls them is definitely cutest in his little baby lisp: CHIXZZ! And he always says it like seeing them is his favorite part of the day. Which it probably is.
