Sunday morning we woke up very early, hopped on the bus and put on some pink handkerchiefs. Even James wore one.
We walked a really long way, with an amazing amount of people. Just walking to the bathroom before the race even started, I was brought to tears. Everywhere around me were people who came together to support and remember women who have fought breast cancer, and to help the fight for those who may have it in the future.
But this walk was not a walk for crybabies like me. It was a walk with a sense of humor and a ton of spirit. Even in the rain. My favorite team name was the Uni-boobers.
And we shared our love for Becky. She is an amazing fighter, with the best attitude I have ever seen!
Afterward we hung out at the Seattle Center for a little while, eating the free food and enjoying good company. James and Britton decided to have a go in the fountain. Britton was already soaked anyway.
WE LOVE YOU, BECKY!
